You can renew your vehicle licence disc by following these three easy steps:

Step1: Enquiry & Quotation

Please ensure that you submit true and correct information on our client renewal form, and based on the vehicle information supplied an invoice will be generated and forwarded to you with all applicable fees: Licence, Administration and Delivery fees.

Step2: Payment

Make your payment through our online payment platform or via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payment. It is advisable that you send proof of payment with accurate reference details on the invoice to accounts@made-easy.co.za after payment has been made for quick funds allocation.

Step3: Delivery

To avoid any inconvenience and delays please make sure that the delivery address provided is accurate and up to date. Your licence may be delivered within 3 to 5 working days following successful payment allocation.

Made-Easy has a simple and straight forward pricing structure with no hidden costs involved:

1. A Licence Fee is charged according to the specific vehicle being renewed based on the information supplied by the user;

2. Administration Fee of R250is applied per vehicle renewal and covers the services provided by Made-Easy;

3. A Delivery Fee for the shipment of the disc;

Only pay for an upcoming licence renewal.

Our services are available nationwide across all nine provinces within the borders of South Africa for all registered vehicles.

Fees are based on:

• Vehicle category (e.g., car, truck, trailer);
• Tare (weight);
• Expiry date;
• Made-Easy adds an Admin Fee (see Question 2).

• Payments are processed within 24 hours;
• Once your payment has been correctly and successfully allocated, your vehicle licence disc will be delivered by our delivery partner;
• Delays may occur if you use the wrong payment reference or provide incorrect vehicle details;
• For EFT payments, please email proof of payment to accouns@made-easy.co.za with accurate reference as per invoice issued.

Your disc may be blocked for one of the following reasons:

• Other Unlicensed Vehicle
• Enforcement Order
• CRW Required
• Admin Mark
• Outstanding Fees.

We advise that you address the issue listed above to unblock your disc with your local authorities. Made-Easy will however make an effort to assist you however possible.

You may have other expired vehicles registered under your ID (cars, trailers, etc.). Renew all expired licences before your current disc can be issued.

Issued if you ignore a traffic fine or court date. Blocks your licence disc until resolved. Demerit points may be added automatically.

“CRW” stands for Certificate of Roadworthiness and means a vehicle needs to be inspected and certified as roadworthy, typically through a Certificate of Roadworthiness (CRW) test, before it can be legally registered or transferred into a new owner's name. This is a legal requirement for ensuring the vehicle meets basic safety standards. Once this document is in place, you may proceed to use our platform to renew your vehicle licence disc.

Vehicle-related:

• A1: Doubts about roadworthy validity;
• A2: Suspected cloned number plate;

Owner-related:

• B1: Owner is deceased (update ownership first);
• B2: Warrant for arrest over unpaid fines (resolve in court).

• Engine/chassis number mismatch;
• Vehicle was stolen and recovered;
• Missing ownership documents;

Process:

• Visit your nearest Licensing Centre in your region or province;
• Bring a Data Dot Certificate, ID copy, proof of address, original RLV form, and engine invoice (if replaced).

Incorrect details (e.g., category, tare, expiry) provided may lead to wrong fee calculations. In such cases you may pay the difference or cancel your transaction and request a refund.

• Licence not renewed after ownership transfer.
• Penalty fees apply from the transfer date.
• A valid roadworthy test (≤60 days old) is required.
• Dealerships often forget to renew discs, leaving new owners with expired ones.

Check status under Renew My Licence:

1. Processing Payment: Awaiting confirmation.
2. Pending: Payment confirmed.
3. Sent for Processing: Sent to authorities.
4. Delays: Waiting for response.
5. Received Successful: Approved.
6. Completed: Disc shipped by our delivery partner.

Email dispatch@made-easy.co.za before your order is Completed. After dispatch, contact our delivery partner directly. We will also assist when required to do so.

Refunds are only issued if we cannot process your renewal. No refunds for blocked discs (e.g., CRW Required). Refunds are processed at month-end.

Issued for moving traffic offences. Pay the fine or attend court within 30 days. Note: Does not apply in Gauteng.

Valid for 60 days. Required after ownership changes or if your disc was blocked due to licensing delays.
